An important note:
Because antivaxxers have dampened access to much of public life and we must still recognize that there is a global pandemic happening, you will most likely be required to show proof of full vaccination before entering most San Francisco nightclubs, event venues, and other establishments. Businesses risk nearly everything if they turn a blind eye to such protocol, and we want our favorite venues to stay open.
“The loss in business is much greater due to closure than rejecting guests who don't have booster shots. Of course, no policies can help eliminate the spread, but anything is worthwhile to help curb the risks and give our staff extra protection.” —Dennis Leung / Palette Tea House SF
All places hosting high-risk events such as concerts with over 500 people now legally require that you show proof of a booster shot if you are more than 6 months from your first round of vaccine. Additionally you must be two weeks past your booster for it to be considered valid for entry.
We understand that there are many instances in which vaccination status is not checked / the procedure is forgotten, but out of respect for the health and safety of everyone we hope that you follow safety guidelines and arrive prepared. This also means not going out if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
Don't forget your mask, don't share your vape, and happy raving!
